Scope Of Work 

With us receiving the site as a green field this enable us to make an immediate start as the Principle Contractor on site, this was undertaken for an 14 week duration.

Once our appropriate welfare was established we commenced with the topsoil strip which was stored on site in designated stockpile areas totalling a volume of circa 8,300m3 for reuse back into the final scheme.

Our clients compound and storage areas were then installed giving them over a 2000m2 of usable space ready for them to take occupation once our PC role ceased.

Initial access to site was created by the installation a temporary crossing linking the site to the existing Highway which was carried out by our NRSW approved operatives under traffic management.

The first 100m of onsite roads and the associated drainage were next to be installed, the SW drainage consisted of 600mm dia pipes and 1500mm Dia manholes installed to a depth of 3.5m. All of the works were carried out in strict accordance with Essex Highways requirements which consisted of stringent testing and validation of the sub base and drainage backfill materials being used.

Existing onsite watercourses also received improvement works from us, they were culverted which terminated with precast concrete head walls to an adoptable standard.

The foundation design to the Show House and Sales Garage was an traditional strip foundation design which then received 7N substructure blockwork and facing brickwork with a feature plinth detail. 

The oversites were a Thermal and traditional Suspended Flooring design which received a glass-like power float finish ready to have the final floor finish to be applied directly onto without the need for further remedial or betterment works.
