Scope Of Work
Phase 2 of the Chesterwell Fairways development marks the next stage of our ongoing partnership with Mersea Homes on their prestigious Chesterwell scheme.

As Principal Contractor for this demanding 30-week programme, Centaur Construction is delivering a comprehensive package of adoptable roads and sewer works. Our scope includes the installation of over 1.5 km of adoptable drainage, making use of the innovative Tracey Concrete PERFECT BASE™ system to effectively manage high groundwater conditions – building on the proven success of its application during Phase 1.

The works also involve construction of 1,200 linear metres of adoptable carriageway, extending the Primary Street bus route through the development and forming the onsite road network. In addition, we are responsible for the installation of all service mains and street lighting infrastructure across the scheme.

Demonstrating our adaptability and reliability, Centaur has also been engaged to assist with finishing works to roads and footways across earlier parcels of the development, ensuring a consistent, high-quality outcome across the wider scheme.
